Task tracking
#
Principles- Todo lane contains the backlog of tasks. Tasks near the top of the lane are prioritized over tasks near the bottom of the lane. Once a week, review the todo lane and reprioritize tasks by re-ordering (drag and drop) tasks.
- Working lane contains tasks currently being worked on. Keep tasks in the working column to a minimum to limit work in progress (WIP). WIP limit can change depending on the project, but a good rule of thumb is to only have two tasks in the working lane at once (per person). If the WIP limit is exceeded, move the bottom task back to Todo.
- Waiting lane contains tasks that are blocked, waiting for review, or otherwise cannot be completed by the person assigned.
- Complete lane contains tasks that were recently completed. Periodically, completed tasks older than two weeks should be archived.
